Designed as a composition of light, texture, and contrast, Mr. Ahbabi Villa explores how carefully selected materials can shape both architectural expression and environmental performance. The villa combines bright surfaces, natural elements, and dark accents to create an exterior that feels timeless, elegant, and responsive to its surroundings.
The exterior is finished with a special white paint that reflects natural light while reducing heat absorption, helping maintain thermal comfort in the region’s warm climate. This bright material palette enhances the villa’s visual clarity while creating a calm and welcoming architectural expression.
Wooden louvers are carefully integrated throughout the façade to provide protection from ultraviolet light while introducing warmth and texture to the composition. Beyond their functional role, these natural elements contribute to the villa’s sustainable character and add a sense of elegance and refinement. While natural stone enriches the exterior with texture, permanence, and emotional depth, dark glazing creates contrast and adds a sense of mystery to the composition.
The rear façade adopts a more transparent expression through expansive glazed openings that strengthen the relationship between the interior and the outdoor environment. This openness allows natural light to shape the living spaces while creating a balanced dialogue between solid materials and transparent surfaces.
